Karla Timbang

Karla Timbang is a current grad student at Valdosta State University's Master of Social Work Program. She also serves as president of the Graduate Social Work Organization and works as the Social Work Program's graduate assistant. Karla intends to work with adolescents, specializing in trauma, utilize play therapy, and obtain her LCSW. She received her BS in Psychology and BA in Communication at UC Davis.

Karla, a transplant from California, currently resides in Valdosta, GA with her husband, dog, and two cats. She enjoys planning out her next DIY project with her husband, trying out a new recipe, daydreaming about new places to travel to, and spending time with friends and family.
