Amelia Copeland

New Horizons Behavioral Health

Amelia Copeland is currently the Rural Care Coordinator for Morehouse School of Medicine and New Horizons Behavioral Health. Previously, Amelia earned her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University in December 2019, and her Bachelor of Science in Child Development from Voorhees College in 2017. As a Georgia peach, Amelia enjoys bringing good southern hospitality to those around her. She loves to make people laugh and bake cookies. Amelia enjoys being able to help the rural communities she services, especially Talbot county, where she grew up. Amelia is most passionate about kids. She hopes to be a child counselor and work with children who been victims of abuse and trauma. She plans to further her education by getting her Ph.D. in educational leadership. Amelia favorite Bible verse is Mark 11:24, that discusses faith. Growing up in a Christian home, Amelia believes anything is possible with faith, works, and trusting in God
