Valdosta State University
Christina Aresty received her Bachelor’s degree in Exceptional Student Education from the University of Central Florida in 2019. Christina worked as a teacher for students with exceptionalities, primarily teaching children with autism. As an undergraduate student, Christina was interested in Psychology and soon discovered the Marriage and Family Therapy program at VSU, which Christina determined was the right place to be. Christina is currently in the final year of the MFT Master's program and is receiving hands-on clinical training and experience through internship/ practicum at the FamilyWorks Clinic. Christina hopes to one day combine therapy with past experiences in special education by providing therapy services to clients with exceptionalities as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
