Malisha Mishoe
Albany State University
Malisha Mishoe holds a Master's degree in psychology, specializing in life coaching, and is on the Clinical Mental Health Counseling track of the Counselor Education program at Albany State University (Spring 2025). She is a 2024 Association for Spiritual, Ethical, and Religious Values in Counseling (ASERVIC) and a National Mental Health Workforce Acceleration Collaborative (NMHWAC) fellow. Malisha is deeply committed to positively impacting the field of mental health and counseling, where she plans to leverage her degrees to aid in changing/reforming psychopharmacological drugs prescribed to children in the foster care system, as well as create programs that target the long-term effect of slavery (PTSD) in society to bring awareness of how slavery continues to have generational effects in persons of color.
