Sashana Rowe-Harriott

Sashana Rowe-Harriott is people-centered and passionate about increasing access to quality mental and behavioral health services, especially for historically excluded youth and their families. Her immigrant experience and core value of interdependence fuel her commitment to advocacy and equity, shaping her work as a compassionate helper. She is an MSW student at the University of Georgia, currently completing her specialization year internship at Advantage Behavioral Health's Jackson County Outpatient Clinic, with the goal of becoming a licensed clinical social worker. Sashana views her social work practice as an opportunity to address Georgia's youth and families' mental health needs with cultural humility, working toward collective healing and transformation. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and finds solace in nature and family.
